Working alongside the research Director CEEMEA, this role will build and develop commercially focused research support for the NEE commercial teams. Using data available to them, this role is about translating commercial data into insights and ideas, transforming consumer insights into actionable commercial pitches.
This is a new role designed to focus and specialize in commercial research, there is a real opportunity to develop and grow the function within the NEE market. Centralized around using the market ratings databases, the successful candidate will extract effective and relevant research to internal clients in order to grow revenue through advertising & affiliate sales. Responsibilities: Working with the Research Director, CEEMEA to provide clear and insightful regular reporting across the market to the commercial teams (adsales & affiliate). Developing strong relationships with the Distribution Sales Director Russia, Ad sales Directors NEE, Distr sales manager Ukraine/Moldova, Baltics/Belorussia Create greater visibility on markets from a commercial perspective Fully exploit available data sources such as people meter, ad-sales and viewer panel to provide actionable insights to support and develop commercial arguments Presenting commercial insight & recommendations to internal clients in a clear, concise manner Blending research insights, people meter data and other sources to reveal more about our viewers and their TV choices. Work with the Editorial Research Manager, NEE, to create a positive culture for the NEE team to work with. Through provision of united, insightful research products that work in tandem with each other (both Editorially & Commercially) Work with the Editorial Research Manager to develop additional viewer feedback tools to drive audience insight within the organization. Requirements: Requirements: Significant experience in sales research, media planning/buying Strong data analysis skills, including advanced excel skills – must be currently extracting, analysing and interpreting large sets of data Broad research experience, from analysis of peoplemeter data, to commissioning and managing primary quantitative and qualitative research projects Knowledge of the NEE region, with particular reference to Russia and Ukraine Working knowledge of relevant people meter data analysis systems Excellent communication and presentation skills Passion for TV, (new) media, factual and lifestyle entertainment programmes Ability to manage workload through business based prioritisation, and delivery of concise and relevant work to internal clients Customer focussed and ability to demonstrate diplomacy, tact and integrity Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to use initiative Fluent in English Competencies:
